Universities and research centers publish numerous high-quality research results in scientific journals today, many of which contain valuable information but are available only through subscription-based platforms. This creates difficulties for researchers who need such scientific data, especially physicians interested in human health, those seeking to improve the quality of the healthcare system, and researchers striving to contribute to a sustainable and livable world, in accessing this information. To overcome the subscription barriers frequently encountered by these researchers, open access publishing, which has rapidly expanded in recent years, has become an important solution. Through an open-access publishing system, researchers can gain new insights into advanced aspects of biological, medical, and technological sciences through experimental, clinical, or a combination of these approaches.
As the Roads Journals, we have adopted open access publishing to disseminate high-quality studies, prioritizing public health and well-being, and ensuring accessibility for those who need them most. In line with our mission of social contribution, once qualified, up-to-date studies are accepted, the article publishing charge (APC) may be waived partially or entirely, depending on the economic conditions of the authors’ country of residence. A letter explaining the request should be sent to "info@theroadsin.com". A positive or negative response to the author will be provided within seven business days.
Once an article is accepted for publication by Kaplan SANEN Publishing Publishing, an article processing charge (APC) is applied. These fees cover the costs associated with editing and finalizing the manuscript into a published article (PDF), as well as hosting, distribution, database management, online repository services, archiving, peer review, open access publication, Crossref registration, DOI assignment, facilitating citation, and article promotion.
Kaplan SANEN Publishing Publishing and its journals under this policy are entirely open access. The APC paid by the authors or their institution covers the costs of maintaining and distributing the journal. Since they are provided open access without restrictions, and because we are a private organization that does not receive institutional or governmental funding, these charges are essential for sustainability. There is no article submission fee at the Kaplan SANEN Publishing Publishing; authors or their institution must pay the APC only after their manuscript has been accepted for online publication by the editor in chief.
The following are very nominal and highly dependable APCs for various articles:
| Review (RW) | Research (RA) | |
|---|---|---|
| APCs (*) | $1550 | $1950 |
(*) US dollars, including taxes
Article Withdrawal and Refund Policy:
If an author wishes to withdraw an accepted article submitted to Kaplan SANEN Publishing Publishing, the request must be made within seven working days of the acceptance date and accompanied by a formal letter explaining the decision. Withdrawal requests submitted after this deadline (i.e., more than seven working days after acceptance) will not be considered. For any questions regarding our refund or manuscript withdrawal policies, please contact the journal's editorial office.
